Types of Trade Licenses
Normal License
- Requires a Memorandum of Association (MoA) (obtained electronically or manually) and a site lease contract.
Instant Licence
- Issued within five minutes for selected activities that do not require external approvals.
- Includes:
– Memorandum of Association (MOA)
– Virtual site for the first year
– Dubai Chamber membership (for commercial activities)
– Establishment card from GDRFA
– Establishment card from MOHRE, allowing employment of up to three people - Available for the following legal forms:
– Limited Liability Company (L.L.C),
– Limited Liability Company Single Owner (L.L.C – SO),
– Sole Establishment, and Civil Company. - eTrader License
– A sole establishment license for Dubai home-based businesses with a registered trade name.
– Application through Invest in Dubai portal.
– Fees: AED 1,070 (license + knowledge & innovation fees) + AED 300 (Dubai Chamber membership).
Documents Required

Instant License:
- Unified number or ID number.
eTrader License:
